Square doodle

It's been a while since my last post bit i've been so busy doodling 😊.

This doodle jas been made with rotring isograph and radiograph pens. The 0.25 pen seems to have a little problem with the inkflow. After a few years of non-usage i guess they need a thorough cleening. There is also a big difference in the black pigment in this ink vs the sakura Pigma markers. The rotring is less intense. A positive point is the linewidth, this is much more accurate wit the rotring pen. This allows much finer work to be drawn.

Flowers on a rock

It was a bit of a search to create some depth in this one. It did not work out totaly but it was as always fun to create. This time I painted the card with Talens Ecoline. The big black surface was also painted. It seemed like a waste of ink of my fineliners.

Uhhhmmmm

I'm pretty happy with the results of this one. A little experiment with depth and shadow. It was very fun making it aswell. I started out with the corcle and went working from there. ☺

Abstract zendoodle

This time not an animal but I started with a flower. I changed the workflow. In stead of putting loads of detail in the forms, I filled in the outer lines with a black Steadtler Permanent Lumocolor. The coloring is once again done with watercolor pencils. This time I used Bruynzeel expression aquarell in combination with Staedlter Noris Club aquarell. I use 2 different marks of colors because my Staedtler set is limited to 12 colors. I like the dark coloring of the Staedler pens, they seem to be a little bit more pigmented then the Bruynzeel expression aquarell.

Another zendoodle with aquarell pencil and Sakura micron pigment markers.

Fox zendoodle

My first zendoodle I ever made. A fox chilling in the grass. The grass and water are done with aquarell pencil.
